White Wines

Bolyki Sauvignon Blanc Cuvee – 28.5

Villemarin Picpoul de Pinet, Côteaux du Languedoc – 26.5
Youthfully pale lemon yellow, with a nose of lemon and lime fruit, and an intriguing blend of white blossom and green herb notes. Vibrant green apple fruit with a refreshingly dry and acidic finish.

Baron de Baussac Viognier – 27.5
A fleshy white, with bright aromas of ripe apricot and peach, hints of grapefruit and fresh pineapple.

Reyneke Vinehugger Organic Chenin Blanc – 28.5
Johan Reyneke is one of South Africa’s most celebrated producers This organic Chenin Blanc has notes of quince and pineapple, well integrated acidity and a long finish.

2017 Balassa Furmint St Tamas – 59

2018 Kelly Washington Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon, Marlborough, New Zealand – 47

2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Tradition, Chateau Fargueirol – 62

Rose Wines

Vylyan, ‘Kakas’ Rose – 25.5
Pinot Noir, Kadarka & Merlot. Medium body, acidity, medium finish, red fruits, raspberry, strawberry, cherry, spices, pepper, minerals

Nicolas Rouzet, Coteaux d’Aix en Provence – 28.5
Rosé with a beautiful colour with lychee hues. On the nose, it is both fine and elegant with red berries notes. The palate attack is round and marked by red berries aromas ending with fresh notes.

Whispering Angel, Côtes de Provence – 55
Whispering Angel is, today, the reference point for fine Provence rosé. Full, lush, yet linear and crisp, textured and long – the apogee of fine pink.

 

Fizz & Champagne

Kreinbacher Brut Classic – 48
A multi-award-winning méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine from the celebrated Kreinbacher Estate. Green apples and citrus on the nose, grapefruit, peach and pineapple on the palate

Laurent-Perrier Rosé NV – 73
Intense salmon-pink. AromA: Fresh strawberries, red currants, raspberries and black cherries are prevalent on the nose.

Apericana Prosecco – 29.5

Red Wines

Romero Gonzales Malbec – 23
This is an elegant juicy Malbec with lots of pure blackcurrant fruit character. A little grip of tannin helps balance the wine.

Surani Costarossa, Primitivo di Manduria – 26.5
Deep, dense ruby in colour, with a nose of warm prunes, dates and figs, with hints of sweet spice. Full and voluptuous, the mouth-feel is soft and plush, with toasty notes that linger on the finish.

St Desir Pinot Noir – 27.5
Showing violets and sweet red berries on the nose the palate is light, velvety and intricate, with integrated toasted notes.

Vylyan, Kekfrankos – 32
Deep and spicy, with red and black sour cherry fruit. The palate is robust, with notable pepperiness, firm but ripe tannins and a spicy finis

deep, multi-regional Tempranillo that’s chock-full of bramble, blackcurrant and vanilla.

Kanonkop Kadette Pinotage – 36
In the lower slopes of Stellenbosch’s Simonsberg Mountain, grapes are treated to an extended ripening season. The Kadette is a palate of ripe red fruit, elegant tannins and a deluxe slather of mocha

2017 ST. ANDREA Egri Bikavér Grand Superior ‘Nagy-Eged Cru’ – 75
Rich nose, core of dark fruit including sour cherry and blackcurrant on the palate. tobacco, dark chocolate and vanilla. Complex red with endless layers and depth,TOP 50 wines of 2021 by the Decanter judges.

2016 Marqués de Reinosa Reserva, Rioja, Spain – 38.5
Bright ruby coloured with brick tints and a garnet coloured rim with notes of vanilla, black cherry, coffee and balsamic.

2012 Vylyan, Duennium – 72
Balanced structure with ripe tannins, vital acidity and velvety texture. Intense and complex with notes of ripe but lively black sour cherry, hip, cranberry, cinnamon and vanilla notes.

2014 Chateau de Fonbel, St Emilion Grand Cru – 59
Classic St Emilion, minerals first followed by leather coffee and chocolate. Elegant blend lead by Merlot, with sweet strawberry, red cherry and plum, laced with potpourri and a hint of tobacco

The Chocolate Block, Boekenhoutskloof, Western Cape – 55
An earthy, rustic nose gives up aromas of leather, earth and spices over a backdrop of blackcurrant and ripe raspberry fruit. Harmonious and powerful on the palate, with a cocoa and pepper complexity.

2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge, Les Chapouins Vieilles Vignes, Famille Perrin – 92
Very expressive nose of bouquet of sweet spices with notes of chocolate, truffle and nutmeg. Well structured and silky, supported by aromas of coffee beans. All in elegance that offers a finish of an incredible length.

Amarone Classico Costasera, Masi – 62

Dark ruby red, cherry, licorice, little tanins. Great fill, semi heavy but not a lasting aftertaste.

2020 Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir, Hemel-en-Arde – 62
Packed with black fruits, hints of mulberry and spice and a slight savoury edge. Lovely minerailty streaks through the creamy palate leading to fine grained elegant tannins.

2016 Reserve Special Pauillac, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) – 69
Deep glossy red. Light cherry nose, a little woodsmoke. Liquorice, cedar, espresso meets plum and cherry tannin.

2016 Chateau Chantalouette, Pomerol – 72
On the nose it has aromas of red fruits and spices. On the palate, the entrance is smooth. It continues with a round and balanced body and a long finish. With fresh fruit flavours.
